It’s New England or bust in the AFC after the Wild Card weekend.

After a couple upsets on Wild Card weekend, the top-dog New England, got a boost in the Super Bowl 52 odds for most betting sites on SportsBettingDime.com. They are now roughly at 9/5 odds, versus 7/3 before the Wild Card round. The Pats lucked into a Divisional Round game with the overmatched Titans, which they’ll enter as 14-point favorites. Meanwhile the NFC is wide open with the spread for both Divisional Round games at four or lower. Whoever emerges from the NFC will have to win two tough games, where as the Patriots will likely cruise past Tennessee and then host the AFC Championship Game against Pittsburgh, a team they have owned.

If you’re looking for value, it’s all but gone in the AFC. Two of the remaining four teams in the AFC are basically not even worth considering as a bet since they have the two worst odds, with Tennessee owning the worst odds by a long-shot in the playoffs. The Steelers own the third-best odds, but that’s due to the likeliness of escaping the divisional round against Jacksonville. Despite losing earlier this season at home in a blowout, the Steelers are 7.5-point favorites against the Jaguars.

The Patriots are heavy favorites, and according to oddsmakers, it’s looking like the Minnesota vs. New Orleans matchup will determine who New England will square off against in Super Bowl 52.

The Vikings have the second-best odds to win the Super Bowl at +375, slightly higher than New Orleans at +550, which own the fourth-best odds to win the Super Bowl.

If you’re looking for the best value, though, the Atlanta vs. Philadelphia matchup can’t be overlooked. The Falcons are actually entering the contest as field-goal favorites, thanks to the lack of confidence in Philadelphia quarterback Nick Foles. If you believe in Foles and the Eagles defense to become resurrected in the postseason, then jumping on the +1400 odds to win the Super Bowl would be a necessity.
