The hot streak continued in the Survivor Pool, with another victory in week 14. It wasn’t easy, like it had been in recent weeks, but New Orleans battled back from an 11-point halftime deficit to keep the Survivor Pool streak alive.

The teams are dwindling, so it’s becoming much more difficult to find the best teams each week. That’s OK, because there are a few options remaining int he week 15 NFL Survivor Pool.

Teams Used: Green Bay, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota (loss), Jacksonville, Carolina, Houston, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Los Angeles Chargers, Chicago, New England, Philadelphia, New Orleans

Best Bet

Baltimore Ravens

If you think Tampa Bay is on the edge of giving up, you’re not alone.

The Buccaneers jumped out to a 14-3 lead at halftime against New Orleans in week 14, only to completely fall apart in the second half en route to another loss. The Buccaneers once vaunted offense has been less than appealing in recent weeks, averaging just 5.2 yards per play.

That’s a major problem, especially since the Ravens average the same amount per play in the last three weeks, but will also pack the NFL’s best defense in this matchup. Baltimore has consistently been one of the best defenses in the NFL this season and that showed once again in week 14 on the road against Kansas City.

With Baltimore returning to home for this one, I don’t trust Tampa Bay will be ready to play.

Tampa Bay’s defense is still one of the worst defenses in the NFL and the injuries are mounting for the Buccaneers. Don’t overthink this one and go with the better team at home.

Sleeper Pick

Atlanta Falcons

It’s tough to trust Atlanta at this point of the season. However, if you’re needing two teams to carry on in the Survivor Pool, then Atlanta should be a solid No. 2.

The Falcons have shown some glimpses on the defensive side of the ball in recent weeks, with some of their players returning from injury. That should continue to give the Falcons a leg up in this game against an Arizona team having to travel across the country without any offense.

The Cardinals average a league-low 4.4 yards per play and it’s only going to get worse with another offensive lineman out with injury. The Falcons will be able to score against Arizona, and the Cardinals just won’t be able to keep up.

This is a meaningless game, but the Falcons should be given the nod in this game.

Be Careful

Seattle Seahawks

I previously mentioned the Seahawks as a team to be careful when backing the last time they played San Francisco. I’ll double-down in this one.

San Francisco showed last week that they’re not as bad as their record indicates. The defense is ranked 10th in yards per play allowed and the offense is ranked 14th. Those numbers generally don’t follow a team with only three wins.

And the 49ers are getting Seattle on a short week where they looked below-average for the majority of the Monday night win against Minnesota. The defense looked good, but the last time these two teams faced, San Francisco did manage to move the ball.

They struggled with turnovers.

This is one where you should be careful based on Seattle tripping up after multiple big victories.
