Major League Baseball is a streaky game and these three players have been on a hot streak lately. And while others that are currently hot are 100 percent owned in fantasy baseball leagues, these players could be available on the waiver wire.

Denard Span

Washington Nationals outfielder Denard Span may not be on the waiver wire for long.

Span is batting .462 in the last seven games, with five runs, one home run and five RBIs. Span also has added two stolen bases. He’s not just getting it done in one category. He’s producing in each offensive category, providing fantasy owners a steal in the outfield at this point of the season.

Overall for the season, Span is batting .333 with 18 runs, 12 RBIs and three stolen bases. He’s shown the ability to get on base and score runs, and if he keeps up this pace, he will stay off the waiver wire for the duration of the season.

Brad Miller

Seattle Mariners shortstop Brad Miller is starting to find his groove at the plate. And he’s available in all fantasy leagues.

Miller has four home runs in the last five games. He’s totaled five RBIs in those five games, while going 7-for-18 at the plate. These numbers are a stark contrast to what Miller has contributed this year, but a recent move to the No. 2 hole has sparked the new approach at the plate.

Despite the torrid pace recently, Miller is still batting .264 for the season with 10 runs. His four home runs for the season have come in the last five games. Six of his 10 runs have come in the last six games.

Keeping up this pace is unlikely, but he may have found a more comfortable position with the lineup move and would give fantasy owners a shortstop who can hit for power and contribute to runs being scored.

Avisail Garcia

Chicago White Sox outfielder Avisail Garcia should start getting more respect from fantasy owners.

Garcia is likely owned in some leagues, but available in the majority of fantasy leagues. In the last eight games, Garcia is batting .410 with 16 hits, three home runs, eight RBIs and seven runs.

He’s totaled RBIs in the last four games, with seven total to go along with two homers. The White Sox offense is starting to heat up and Garcia is one of the main reasons why.

Barring injury, Garcia is a likely option to be owned in several leagues soon.
