Tommy Milone will get an opportunity next week to keep his recent momentum going.

The Minnesota Twins left-hander will square off against the Chicago White Sox and the Milwaukee Brewers. Milone has proven recently that he can go deep into games without surrendering many runs. But that’s not the main reason to pick him up for two starts for next week.

Milone is a no-brainer as a two-start option next week because of the match-ups. The two teams that own the worst batting averages against left-handed pitchers? The Brewers and White Sox.

Milwauke is the worst in Major League Baseball with a .197 average, while the White Sox trail slightly at .202. Neither team will be able to hit Milone, and neither will be able to score runs, as Chicago owns a MLB-worst runs scored at 35 against leftys. The Brewers are slightly higher, but not by much, at 49.

Fantasy baseball owners will have solid match-ups and if the last two games are any indication, a solid pitcher to trot out to the mound. In his last two starts, Milone has gone 14 innings, allowing three earned runs, eight hits and one walk. He has 13 strikeouts during those two contests, where he was 1-0.

Don’t be scared about Milone’s troubles in the beginning of the season. Milone is an easy start next week and he’s available in all fantasy baseball leagues.
