Sunday was a tough day for some fantasy football owners who had high hopes for specific players.

Here’s the breakdown of the biggest fantasy football busts of week 2 of the NFL season.

Quarterback

Sam Bradford, Philadelphia, 7.86 points

Has there been a bigger bust during the first two weeks of the NFL season than Bradford?

The Philadelphia quarterback entered the 2015 season with plenty of hype. He was supposed to be the missing piece to Chip Kelly’s mastermind puzzle, but so far after two weeks, Bradford has underwhelmed.

He finished with 7.86 points on Sunday, outdistancing Dallas backup quarterback Brandon Weeden by less than a point.

Bradford put up most of his numbers in garbage time, with 224 yards passing, one touchdown, two interceptions and one fumble lost.

Last week, he wasn’t much better at 13.44 points, with the majority of that total coming in the second half, similar to this past week. On the season, he already has four interceptions, compared to only two touchdown passes.

The Eagles travel to New York on Sunday to face the Jets, where Darrelle Revis will be waiting on his island, ready to make life tough on Bradford again.

Running back

Jeremy Hill, Cincinnati, 0.10 points

Pretty much any running back would have been a better option than Hill on Sunday.

With an average draft position of 15th overall and ninth among running backs, fantasy football owners are looking for a bit more production out of Hill.

Hill’s major issue on Sunday came with his ball security. He fumbled twice and then found himself in the doghouse as Giovani Bernard gobbled up most of the remaining carries.

Hill only notched 11 touches during the game, registering 39 yards rushing on 10 carries and one catch for two yards. Hill had five fumbles last season, so if he continues to lose the ball, he may have weeks where his points are low.

Wide receiver

Keenan Allen, San Diego, -0.40 points

Allen had a good week 1 showing with a 15-catch effort for 166 yards. It appeared as if Allen may shoot up into that top-10 range for fantasy football wide receivers, if his targets and receptions remained that high.

Then Sunday happened.

Allen was abysmal, with only 16 yards receiving and one fumble lost. And he’s not just a receiver who isn’t a big part of many lineups. He entered the 2015 season with an ADP of 20th among wide receivers, making him a solid No. 2 option for many owners.

What’s troubling from Sunday is that Allen was targeted only four times. San Diego has numerous options, and quarterback Phillip Rivers likes to spread around the ball. That’s an issue to keep an eye on as the season progresses.

Tight end

Jimmy Graham, Seattle, 1.10 points

Fantasy football owners might start worrying about Graham’s targets.

He registered only two targets during Sunday’s loss to Green Bay. In week 1, he registered more targets and scored a touchdown, but all those came late in the game.

He’s not being used to the extent of when he was in New Orleans. That may change during the coming weeks, but for a player who had an ADP of second among tight ends and 25th overall, he’s expected to do much more than just one catch for 11 yards.

Baltimore Ravens defense, -1.00 points

We could put San Francisco on this list, since it actually registered the worst total in fantasy football at minus-4 points. However, the 49ers were coming off a Monday night game, traveling from the West Coast to East Coast, and facing a high-octane offense against Pittsburgh.

The 49ers were ripe for a letdown.

The Ravens, on the other hand, faced Oakland on Sunday, and no one is considering the Raiders has high-flying. Baltimore was coming off a 16-point fantasy football performance from week 1, so it appeared it would rely once again on its defense to shut down the Raiders en route to a bounce-back victory.

However, the Ravens are 0-2, and that secondary looks every bit as weak as it did last year. Baltimore was going through back-to-back road games, but surrendering that many points and yards to the Raiders is troubling to say the least.
