Golden State at Cleveland (+2.5)

The betting public just isn’t buying into Cleveland.

The opening line for game four began with the Cavaliers as a one-point favorite. Now, the Warriors are a 2.5-point favorite.

Oddsmakers were heavily favoring the Warriors entering this series, while the betting public was shaving a few points in the Cavs’ direction. Now, it’s the opposite, with oddsmakers backing the Cavs, only to see the line move multiple points in Golden State’s direction.

Game three went in the oddsmakers’ favor. Game four’s victor will once again rest on LeBron James’ shoulders.

The best player in the NBA once again showed in game three why he’s still considered the best player in the world.

However, the betting public is likely basing their opinion on Golden State’s offense returning, and James coming back to Earth.

It’s difficult to bet against LeBron, but at some point he has to stop scoring 40 points a game. Fatigue will play a role in this series as long as Golden State can start clicking on offense again. Look for the Warriors to get back in the groove on the offensive end and tie the series at 2-2. – Golden State
