San Antonio at LA Clippers (-2)
The Clippers’ ability to show some grit in game six said a lot. Not many predicted Los Angeles to come back after a heartbreaking loss in game five and defeat the defending champions.
This series started out OK for me, but has since derailed thanks to both teams trading wins on the road.
Getting points with San Antonio in a game seven is usually a no-brainer. But the Clippers have shown me a lot in this series. That says a lot to me, considering the last few years the Clippers have shown little to no heart during the playoffs.
What concerns me about the Clippers isn’t their talent or their heart. Instead, I’m worried about them being exhausted in this game. The Clippers pretty much only play their starters, while the Spurs utilize their bench.
I’ll go with a fourth consecutive road win in this series and take the Spurs in a close one. Pick – San Antonio
