Golden State at Houston (+1)

Should I continue to be stubborn?

No team has been hotter against the spread than Houston. Since being down 3-1 to the Los Angeles Clippers in the Western Conference semifinals, the Rockets have rattled off five straight covers.

In that amount of time, I haven’t picked the Rockets once. Whoops.

I’ll give the Rockets credit. They have played well against the Warriors in the first two games, and just missed out on an opportunity to make this series really interesting by being tied 1-1.

But Golden State still enters Houston with a two-game edge and a one-point favorite heading into game three.

At some point, the Rockets will have to come crashing down to Earth.

I’m going to remain stubborn and go with Golden State in this one. The Warriors only giving a point is a good deal, especially considering James Harden put up Superman performances in games one and two, and the Rockets still lost.

This series was over before it started and don’t expect it to continue much longer past game three. Pick – Golden State
