The conference finals of the NBA playoffs will continue with one game Tuesday.

Atlanta at Cleveland (-7.5)

It’s just a formality of what teams will be in the NBA finals. In the meantime, Atlanta will attempt to keep Cleveland away from the finals for another game, and must cover the 7.5 points necessary to at least even the series in against the spread coverage.

The Hawks showed some life in game three in an attempt to keep the series alive. If Atlanta takes game three, it’s still likely that the Cavs win the series, but it’s a lot more interesting.

But the Hawks lost in overtime and LeBron James showed once again why he’s still the best in the NBA. We’ll find out more if he’s still better than the current MVP Stephen Curry in the NBA finals, but James is by far better than anyone on the court in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Will James’ dominance translate to game four? Yes, but I still think the Hawks have a little pride. In Atlanta’s mind, if it can steal game four, it can still go home for a game five and possibly be able to cut the deficit to 3-2.

I’m not sure if the Hawks will win, but they’ll cover, based purely on having pride in staying invested in this series. Pick – Atlanta
