The second round of the NBA playoffs will continue with two games Wednesday.

The NBA playoffs record so far is 11-18-1. Odds are provided by Oddsshark.com.

Chicago at Cleveland (-6)

That was a refreshing NBA game one, at least in my mind.

I haven’t been on the money with many of my predictions during these playoffs, but I couldn’t have been more right than I was in game one of this series. I don’t want to brag, but seriously, pretty much everything I said came true.

Now, before you crown me the king of prognosticators, just look at my other predictions to realize that these playoffs have been a little tough on the ego.

But Lebron doesn’t do great in game ones. The Bulls were the better team. And it will take some adjustment to life without Kevin Love for the Cavs.

Now, it’s game two. The Cavs will be better. They’re in a must win situation now, and betting against Lebron in this situation usually isn’t wise.

But I think the Bulls actually believe they’re the better team. They showed it on the court and they showed it in the post-game. They aren’t intimidated and they have enough players that with confidence, they can make a run at this series.

A few years ago, the Bulls won game one against the Lebron-led Heat. Then, they proceeded to lose the next four games. This isn’t that same Bulls team and Lebron isn’t the same player. Take the Bulls to cover in this one. Pick – Chicago

LA Clippers at Houston (-7)

“This game is ripe for the Rockets to earn a blow out win.”

That was a statement from a certain best bet guide from game one in this series. If you thought I was genius after reading about my prediction about the Bulls, don’t look any further than that statement to realize Jimmy the Greek isn’t putting out this guide.

Game one obviously didn’t go as planned. Even without Chris Paul, the Clippers dismantled the Rockets en route to stealing home-court advantage.

Have you ever watched a team come off a grueling series to capture game one, and then falter for the rest of the series? It happens, and likely more than we think. The Clippers were playing on pure adrenaline in game one.

Now, we’ll see if their legs can keep up. I just don’t buy that the Clippers can put two of those games together after enduring a first round series they did against San Antonio. The Rockets will play much better and LA will look to return home, happy it stole a game. Pick – Houston
