The second round of the NBA playoffs will continue with two games Friday.

The NBA playoffs record so far is 12-21-1. Odds are provided by Oddsshark.com.

Cleveland at Chicago (-2)

Doubt Lebron at your own peril.

I doubted him and looked where I ended up after last game. That’s right, flat down in a heaping pile of mud, wrong again during the playoffs. The Bulls played so well in the first game, I figured, just maybe, they would keep it going.

I should know better. Cleveland needed that game, and even without Kevin Love, the Cavs executed on both sides of the ball better than Chicago.

Now, we’re going to Chicago and the Bulls are in the favorite position. That doesn’t seem right.

The Cavs have the best player in the NBA. They also have Kyrie Irving. And there’s enough support players that it can rely on to make sure the Bulls don’t continue to be favorites in this series.

Taking the Bulls as a favorite is too much of a fanboy move. I’m going with the Cavs to steal back home-court advantage and make game four a must-win for the Bulls. Pick – Cleveland

Houston at LA Clippers (-4)

The betting public loves the Clippers in this game.

The line opened at -2.5 points in favor of LA. Now, the line is -4, and that may continue to climb in the coming hours.

This series hasn’t proved to me that Houston is ready to take the next step. And the Clippers are proving that this just may be their year where the chips fall into place.

I like the Clippers’ ability to show toughness, especially after their game one win and keeping game two within a respectable margin. I’m confident in LA here to cruise past the Rockets in game three. Pick – LA Clippers
