Three games are on the slate for the NBA playoffs for Wednesday. Here are the three best bets for the NBA’s next set of games.

Brooklyn at Atlanta (-9.5)

The Hawks took the series’ first game 99-92. According to Oddsshark.com, the game started the week with Atlanta as a 10-point favorite. The line has moved slightly, thanks to the public’s mistrust of Atlanta in a playoff scenario.

Should the Hawks be trusted? If the regular season was any indication, this should be a no-brainer. The Nets dropped all four regular-season meetings by double-digits. After the series’ first game, and with the Hawks injury problems continuing to be an issue, this may not be the slam dunk that many thought it would be.

Don’t be fooled by the slight downward adjustment of the opening line. Despite the injury issues, Brooklyn will return to its regular season form and lose by double digits again. Pick – Atlanta

Portland at Memphis (-6)

Sometimes sports are all about the matchup. For Memphis, it couldn’t have gotten a better matchup in the first round as a No. 5 seed.

The Grizzlies notched four wins in the regular season against the Trail Blazers by double digits in three of the four meetings. The first game continued that trend with the Grizzlies winning by 14 points. The Blazers should keep this competitive for the most part, but the Grizzlies inside game is too much, and the game will open up in the latter stages of the fourth quarter. Pick – Memphis

San Antonio at Los Angeles Clippers (-1.5)

Oddsshark.com is showing this line moving from a 1-point advantage for the Clippers to a 1.5-point line. It’s not much of a move, but it’s enough to strengthen the opinion to take the Spurs.

This series will likely be the most entertaining of all the playoff matchups. Thanks to a stellar performance from Chris Paul in the first game, LA escaped with a win. This game should be as competitive, but look for the Spurs to lead for most of this contest.

It will come down to the final minutes, but with 1.5 points, take the Spurs to go back to San Antonio with the series evened up at 1. Pick – San Antonio
