The Eastern and Western Conference finals are 2-0 in favor of both favorites.

That doesn’t bode well for gamblers hoping for the underdogs to win a NBA title.

The Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers entered the conference finals as heavy favorites. With both teams holding on to two-game leads, those odds have gotten even better.

The Warriors began the the conference finals as 4/9 odds to win the title. Those odds have pushed to 4/11, while the Rockets’ chances at a championship have all but disappeared, according to Oddsshark.

Houston had 10/1 odds to win the NBA title entering this round. Now, oddsmakers have the Rockets as 36/1.

For Cleveland, its odds haven’t changed much from 9/4 to 12/5 to win the title. In the case of the Eastern Conference finals, it’s more about the Hawks’ decreased chances at the title.

Oddsmakers have the Hawks at 20/1 to win the championship, down from 8/1 when this series began.
