If you’re looking for guarantees, don’t choose the NFL for your viewing pleasure.

Week 3 offered plenty of doubts across several platforms, including the fantasy football world, where a starting fantasy football quarterback may be out for the season.

Here’s the top week 4 waiver wire adds in fantasy football.

Calvin Ridley, WR, Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta is really good offensively. That won’t stop for the duration of the season. And with a defense missing key pieces, it’s likely there will be plenty of shootouts on the horizon.

That’s a good thing for anyone who has invested in Ridley early in the season. He exploded in week 3, with 146 yards receiving and three touchdowns. Most importantly, his targets went up from week 2, from five to eight.

Atlanta’s offense is back to its explosive nature from two years ago. That leaves the door open for several fantasy weapons on this roster, including a rookie wide receiver.

Expect some turbulence, but Ridley is in the right offense and should be the most popular waiver wire pickup in week 4.

Christian Kirk, WR, Arizona Cardinals

Here’s another rookie wide receiver that is generating decent volume as a wide receiver.

The biggest difference for Kirk compared to Ridley is the team’s offensive firepower, which is a main difference.

Kirk tallied 90 yards receiving in week 3 against Chicago, hauling in seven balls on eight targets. Arizona’s offense is a dumpster fire, but Josh Rosen appears to be the starting quarterback going forward, so that should open up some opportunities for Kirk.

He was my top rookie wide receiver heading into this season and he’s starting to show why after a solid week 3.

Tyler Boyd, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

He’s emerged as a better option than John Ross in Cincinnati…in a big way.

Boyd generated seven targets in week 3 against Carolina, going for 132 yards receiving and one touchdown. In the last two weeks, he has 16 targets, 12 catches, 223 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

And with an injury to A.J. Green in week 3, Boyd is a must-add in all formats. The Bengals passing game will continue to be high-volume with Joe Mixon out of the lineup, so Boyd should continue to rack up the targets.

Chris Ivory, RB, Buffalo Bills

LeSean McCoy’s health will continue to be a concern this season. If you have some room on your bench, and it may be getting tight with bye weeks coming up, Ivory should get a look on the waiver wire.

He filled in nicely for McCoy in week 3, going for 126 total yards. He was not able to score a touchdown thanks to Josh Allen running in two scores, but if McCoy doesn’t play, the Bills don’t really have any other fantasy options at the running back position.

Ivory is a veteran in the NFL, so he’s not a bad backup in real life and in fantasy. Even if McCoy is back in week 4, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to keep Ivory for speculative reasons.

Derek Carr, QB, Oakland Raiders

This is an odd pick, considering Carr has been pretty loose with the turnovers so far this season. However, with Jimmy Garoppolo possibly out for the season, somebody in your fantasy football league is looking for a quarterback.

And Carr is a high-volume, high-yardage quarterback. He’s been terrible in the turnover department, but that is correctable.

Carr has shown an ability to be a top-tier quarterback before in the league. He seems much more comfortable after week 1, so he’s not a bad option as a regular starter if necessary.

Streaming quarterbacks has upside, but if you’re without a quarterback at the moment, Carr brings some upside.
