Favorites have been cashing lately in the NFL and I expect that trend to continue.

I like several favorites heading into the week 14 NFL schedule, so here’s three favorites I’m watching in this week’s SuperContest.

Overall: 39-35-4 ATS

SuperContest: 31-29-5 ATS (33.5 points)

Favorites: 20-18-1 ATS

New Orleans Saints (-8) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The more I look into this game, the more I love the Saints.

Tampa Bay is once again dealing with injuries, with four players either doubtful or ruled out for Sunday, and three more listed as questionable. It’s been a tough year for the Buccaneers on the defensive side of the ball, and that will continue with most of the injuries occurring on defense.

Meanwhile, the Saints are relatively healthy, with an offense that is good enough to expose Tampa Bay’s shaky defense.

I’m not buying into Tampa Bay’s offense scoring on this improved Saints defense. New Orleans won’t forget what happened in week 1 and New Orleans is by far the more talented team.

New Orleans should bounce back in a big way in week 14, so trust them as a solid favorite. — Go Chalk with New Orleans

There’s no reason to underestimate the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018 NFL Win totals for the AFC West. Flickr

Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5)

The Ravens will go back to what they were during the middle part of the season.

Before Lamar Jackson entered as starting quarterback, Baltimore was struggling to do anything on offense. Not much is different now.

The Ravens are averaging just 5.4 yards per play in the last three games, slightly more than their season average of 5.2. The defense is dominant, but in back-to-back road games against a Kansas City team capable of moving the ball against anyone is too tough of a task.

Baltimore has feasted on bad competition in recent weeks. The Chiefs are one of the best teams in the AFC for a reason. I’ll take the offense in this one, with a heavy home-field advantage in favor of Kansas City. — Go Chalk with Kansas City

Cincinnati Bengals at Los Angeles Chargers (-14)

Cincinnati is traveling west, with no chance of resurrecting its season and injuries dampening pretty much every positive thought.

I don’t care about the number. The Chargers are going to dismantle the Bengals.

Cincinnati has one of the worst defenses in the NFL. And now, the offense can’t move the ball. And that won’t get any better with A.J. Green out once again.

Despite Melvin Gordon sitting, this one shouldn’t be close. Los Angeles holds major advantages on both sides of the ball, so don’t be scared of the spread. Book the Chargers. — Go Chalk with Los Angeles Chargers
