The second round of the NBA playoffs will continue with two games Friday.

The NBA playoffs record so far is 15-29-1. Odds are provided by Oddsshark.com.

Atlanta at Washington (-3)

Washington showed enough in game five that has bettors banking on a game seven.

I know this could be disappointing (look at my postseason record) to the handicappers predicting the Wizards, but I agree with the love shown for Washington in game six.

Washington should have enough left in the gas tank to take this series back to Atlanta. And I don’t think game six will be close. The Wizards should have won game five, and although there is a little doubt that creeps in, thinking the Wizards are due for a letdown after Al Horford’s game-winning shot, the Wizards should be able to respond at home.

I’m not sure who will win this series, but I’m sure the Wizards will take home a victory by more than three points in game six. Pick – Washington

Golden State at Memphis (+5)

My stubbornness got in the way of my recent pick in this series.

I watched the Warriors in game four, and I still picked Memphis in game five to cover. I’m not sure anyone who actually watched Golden State in game four would think they would have a letdown in game five.

And when I say anyone, I don’t mean me. My pride got in the way, since I’ve been riding the Grizzlies bandwagon since day one of the postseason.

So I came into today thinking I wouldn’t let my pride get in the way. Unfortunately I stopped thinking when I started writing this article.

The Grizzlies will respond in this game. I’m not picking Memphis straight up, but this will be close. It will be so close, that this won’t be decided until the final possession. Pick – Memphis
