Not much happening this week in the Pac-12 after a big Saturday last week.

We found out plenty a week ago in the Pac-12. This isn’t the same Oregon team, and Arizona and Arizona State have a long way to go this season.

With only four games, there’s not much to see this week, but here’s two games we’ll keep an eye on this weekend.

Last week’s betting guide for all power-five college football conferences went 6-4, with a 2-0 record in the Pac-12. For the season, the betting guide has been 6-2 in the Pac-12.

Oregon (-8) at Colorado

What’s this world coming to?

First, Oregon was an underdog for the first time in years during its game against Michigan State. Then, just last week, it gave up 60 points in a home loss to Utah.

Now, the Ducks are barely more than a touchdown favorite against Colorado.

Something smells fishy about this spread. At first glance, this seems like a no-brainer. We don’t care how bad Oregon is, it’s still much better than Colorado, right?

Colorado opened the season with a loss to Hawaii, but has since battled back to rattle off three straight victories. While that’s happened, the Ducks have set records that aren’t exactly something to be happy about.

Despite those instances, we’re still going with the Ducks in this one, and you should, too. The betting public is likely overreacting, and are likely impressed by the Buffaloes turnover margin at plus-five. But turnovers even themselves out over time, and we expect the Ducks to hold on to the ball better this game.

Oregon’s not the same team, but it’s still the Ducks. The offense should be able to score against Colorado, and we don’t believe the Buffs can score enough. — Go chalk with Oregon

Arizona at Stanford (-13.5)

Arizona can’t be as bad as it showed last week against UCLA.

The Wildcats couldn’t muster much of anything against a more talented Bruins squad last week. And the last two times we saw Stanford, it was moving the ball at will against USC and Oregon State.

We like Stanford riding the momentum of its recent offensive breakthrough. The Cardinal looked awful on offense to open the season at Northwestern. Since that time, the Cardinal continue to get better, and with Anu Solomon and Scooby Wright possibly out for this game for Arizona, Stanford should hold the edge by more than two touchdowns in this contest.

Don’t overthink this game. Stanford is hot right now and the better team. — Go chalk with Stanford
