Get ready for a rematch in the 2017 college football playoff.

At least that’s according to oddsmakers. Alabama, Clemson and Oklahoma are the early favorites to square off in next year’s title game. Alabama leads the pack at 6/1 to win next year’s championship, while Clemson and Oklahoma are 7/1.

It’s no surprise that the Crimson Tide are 6/1 to win the title next season. Alabama has won four of the previous seven national titles and are as good of a bet as any team to rebuild after losing several players to the NFL draft.

Oklahoma returns several starters from this season and should have an easier path through the Big 12, while Clemson should also experience the same outcome. The ACC and Big 12 were at the bottom of the power-five conferences in terms of success.

That makes it easier for those teams to reach the playoff next season.

Ohio State and Baylor are next in line, going off at 10/1 and 12/1, respectively. The Buckeyes, the 2015 favorite, should have the talent to reach next year’s playoff after a disappointing season. The schedule doesn’t set up as nicely as it did this past year, with an early trip to Oklahoma on the schedule, along with a road trip to Michigan State.

The Bears were decimated at quarterback this past season, so if they can stay healthy, they should compete for a Big 12 title.

Several teams are bunched at 15/1, featuring Notre Dame, Florida State, Tennessee, LSU and Michigan.

The top Pac-12 team is Stanford at 20/1, while UCLA is going off at 30/1. The non-power five teams with the best odds to win the title are Boise State and Houston at 100/1.
