Even though running backs have traditionally been the hardest players to find on the waiver wire, these last few weeks have run counter to that notion.

There were multiple options in weeks 8 and 9, and week 10 has at least one running back who can bolster your running back corps.

Here’s the best week 10 waiver wire adds in fantasy football.

DuJuan Harris, San Francisco 49ers, RB

With Carlos Hyde likely still out with injury, it appears that Harris will see the bulk of the action for the 49ers.

That’s not necessarily going to lead to RB1 production, but it could provide a decent RB2/Flex option for fantasy rosters. Harris was effective in week 9, generating 142 total yards on only 15 targets. He was basically the lone option in the backfield for San Francisco with backup Mike Davis registering only three touches.

Fifteen touches isn’t a lot, but Harris should be commended for getting that much production out of that workload. The 49ers will likely be down in several games, offering Harris an opportunity to catch the ball out of the backfield. He’s shown the ability to do that and with Hyde on the mend, Harris should be a decent option going forward.

Rishard Matthews, Tennessee Titans, WR

Don’t tell anyone, but Matthews should be owned in far more than just 6 percent of fantasy leagues.

Matthews continued to show he is the No. 1 receiver for the Titans in week 9, going for 63 yards receiving on six receptions. More importantly, he’s becoming quarterback Marcus Mariota’s top red-zone threat, going for two more touchdowns in week 9, giving him five touchdowns in the last five weeks.

What has been lacking a bit in the past has been his targets. However, with Mariota throwing all over the yard in week 9, Matthews was targeted 10 times, the most this season.

Mariota has been throwing more in recent weeks, which will likely continue. That will open up more possibilities for Matthews to continue his touchdown onslaught.

Give Matthews a shot on your fantasy roster. He’s done more than enough to deserve the attention.

Steve Smith, Baltimore Ravens, WR

Before his injury, Smith was a hot item on the waiver wire.

He was the focal part of the passing game during the early part of the season, but with his absence in the majority of the last three weeks, it was unclear how much of an impact Smith would have in week 9.

He picked up where he left off. He was targeted seven times, going for 47 yards receiving and one two-point conversion.

He was heavily involved in the offense and as he gets back to a regular workload, those targets should increase. That amount of targets isn’t bad. Before he was injured, though, he had gone for 11 targets in back-to-back games.

Smith has a mouthwatering matchup set up for week 10 at home against Cleveland, so his ownership of less than 20 percent should increase.

Lance Kendricks, Los Angeles Rams, TE

The Rams’ offense is atrocious. But lately, Kendricks has been a decent option in a position not full of consistent options in fantasy football.

Kendricks went for 90 yards receiving in week 9, despite a terrible drop in the end zone. I can look past the drop thanks to another big day in the targets department. This was his third consecutive game in which he’s had eight or more targets.

He had 12 targets in week 9, giving him 29 targets during the last three weeks. He’s not scoring touchdowns yet, but he’s a solid option for fantasy owners looking for a bye-week replacement or a tight end who can provide a spark.

There’s not many options at tight end who can get you double-digit targets in any week. Kendricks did in week 9 and has been the primary receiving weapon in recent weeks for the Rams.
