Stefon Diggs finally became relevant in fantasy football in 2019.

Diggs shook off the disagreements with Kirk Cousins to roll to more than 40 fantasy points, with three touchdowns and more than 100 yards receiving. Diggs is one of many weapons in the Vikings offense, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that Diggs would put up these kind of numbers.

We’ll see if Diggs can keep up this pace in the week 7 fantasy football wide receivers start ’em, sit ’em guide.

Alshon Jeffery vs. Dallas Cowboys

Don’t worry about Jeffery’s production. His targets have been dominant when he plays.

He has at least eight targets in each of the last three games, with 12 targets in week 6 against Minnesota. And against the Vikings, he went for 10 receptions and one touchdown.

The Cowboys have been one of the better teams against wide receivers this season in fantasy football, but I like my chances in this contest. Quarterback Carson Wentz should be able to be consistent, with plenty of targets being shared to Jeffery.

John Brown vs. Miami Dolphins

I love picking players against the Dolphins.

The Dolphins have been terrible against the opposition on both sides of the ball, and especially on defense. The Dolphins are giving up 25 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the most in the NFL.

And Brown has been the main wide receiver in this Bills offense, which should be able to move the chains on a regular basis against the Dolphins. Brown has been listed as being questionable, so keep an eye on him this week.

If he plays, then he’ll easily be a WR2 candidate.

Allen Robinson vs. New Orleans Saints

The Saints have been good against the pass in recent weeks. But they haven’t been able to put that together the entire season.

New Orleans is a bottom-10 in fantasy points allowed this season. The Saints are giving up 20 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, and Robinson is still being used as a primary weapon in the Bears offense.

Robinson has at least seven targets in each game since week 2. He turned in a solid performance in week 5 against Oakland, with almost 100 yards receiving and two touchdowns. He should be able to create some room in week 7 against the Saints.

Mike Williams vs. Tennessee Titans

The Chargers are having a difficult time finding the groove this season.

And I don’t see the wide receivers having a great time against a Titans defense that has been stellar against the pass this season.

Tennessee is a top-10 defense in limiting fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Mix that with the Chargers inability to move the ball on a consistent basis, especially through the passing game, means that Williams should take a seat.

Robby Anderson should get some attention as one of the week 16 wide receivers to sit. Flickr

Robby Anderson vs. New England Patriots

It may seem like a good idea to start Anderson after last week’s performance.

He dominated the Dallas defense and went for more than 100 yards receiving and one touchdown. He’s the primary weapon in an offense that seems rejuvenated with Sam Darnold at the helm. However, the Patriots have been a different beast than other defenses in the NFL.

New England is allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season. Anderson and Darnold will have difficulties moving the ball up and down the field against New England.

Tyler Boyd vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

I’m banking on subtraction looking to actually being an addition for the Jaguars.

With Jalen Ramsey now out of Jacksonville, the Jaguars can move on and refocus its energy back to the football field. That should mean a better defensive effort by the Jaguars, which have already shown more success in recent weeks.

Boyd has been one of the better fantasy options for the Bengals, but with A.J. Green possibly coming back, his role will diminish. Go ahead and sit Boyd now and downgrade his potential for the remainder of the season.
