It’s semifinal week, so the waiver wire will be a sparsely visited place for week 15.

But for those looking to make a few tweaks to their roster in preparation for the semifinals, week 15 offers a few possibilities. Here’s the best week 15 waiver wire adds.

Kenneth Farrow, San Diego Chargers, RB

It’s not often a starting running back is on the waiver wire this late in the season, but Farrow may be that kind of player in week 15.

Melvin Gordon went out with injury in week 14, and Farrow was the top option for the Chargers. Farrow went for 78 total yards in Gordon’s absence. If Gordon is on your roster, Farrow could be a decent replacement.

It’s difficult to lose Gordon this late in the year, but with the matchups upcoming, Farrow could still put up some points. The Chargers have the Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns in the next two weeks. Cleveland owns the second-worst rushing defense in the NFL, while Oakland owns the seventh-worst.

Gordon would have been a top-five running back with those slate of games, but Farrow could emerge as an RB2. That’s not as great as Gordon, but it’s likely better than other options on your bench. Keep an eye out on the injury report and see what kind of impact Farrow could have in week 15.

Marqise Lee, Jacksonville Jaguars, WR

This may not apply for week 15 since Jacksonville squares off against Houston’s top-tier passing defense. But in week 16, the Jaguars face Tennessee’s fading secondary, allowing fantasy owners to play for the future with Lee.

And even as I say that week 15 may not apply, it still doesn’t mean that Lee would be a bad option for week 15. He’s suddenly the top target of Blake Bortles and just had a career day in week 14.

He had a career-high in yardage in week 14 with 113 receiving yards, and keeps seeing his targets increase. He has at least eight targets in four of the past six games. During that time he’s also gone for two touchdowns.

The Jaguars aren’t known to throw touchdown passes, but Lee is showing solid volume. The touchdowns may come. But even if they don’t, he’s showing the ability to put up decent yardage to warrant WR2/3 mention.

Bilal Powell, New York Jets, RB

He’s owned in less than 50 percent of leagues, so he may be available in your league. And if Matt Forte is out with injury like he was in week 14, Powell can put up solid production in week 15 again.

Powell put up 179 total yards with two touchdowns against San Francisco’s horrendous rush defense. Lucky for anyone who either owns Powell or can get him off the waiver wire, the Dolphins are next up for the Jets. Miami has the third-worst rushing defense in the NFL this year.

Powell has shown to be a solid fill-in for Forte. That should work in your advantage this week against the Dolphins’ porous rush defense.

Depending on Forte’s availability, Powell can be a borderline RB1 against the Jets.

Charles Clay, Buffalo Bills, TE

With the way tight ends have been this season, why not take a few chances on tight ends with good matchups?

Clay finally busted out of his touchdown slump in week 14. He was targeted six times against Pittsburgh, hauling in a touchdown grab. For the majority of the season, it’s been difficult to find a fantasy option among wide receivers and tight ends for Buffalo.

But the matchups are prime for two solid outings to finish the fantasy year. The Bills square off against Cleveland and Miami during the next two weeks. Both teams are in the bottom-10 this season in fantasy points allowed against tight ends.

The best bets for tight ends this season are to find the right matchups and back that tight end. Clay could be that type of solid bet in the remaining two weeks.
