New England has been the favorite to win Super LIV since the odds were released last spring.

Not much has changed since that time with the Patriots odds, but one team is closing the gap. The Patriots are still the favorites to win the Super Bowl at +250, but the Ravens have made monster gains since the beginning of the season.

Baltimore opened the season at +2800 to win the Super Bowl. Now, entering week 12, Baltimore owns the second-best odds to win the Super Bowl at +400. With this look into the Super Bowl odds, we can determine which teams will compete for the Super Bowl trophy.

Dallas Cowboys, +1800

Dallas scares me only because they’ve done this too many times to me before. They appear to be a quality team only to fall short in the playoffs.

But there’s something about this team that can’t keep me away. When looking at this roster, it has to be considered one of the best units in the NFL. The offense ranks first in the NFL in yards per play, while the defense ranks ninth in that same category.

Dak Prescott looks to be maturing and this team can make stops when necessary. This number is still solid, so keep an eye on the Cowboys when heading into the playoffs.

New Orleans Saints, +600

In the AFC, it’s hard to imagine many teams competing for a title other than New England or Baltimore. That’s why I like the value showcased in the NFC. Much like the Cowboys, the Saints are a complete team, equipped with an offense that can consistently move the ball and a defense that can make timely stops.

The offense ranks 13th in the NFL in yards per play, while the defense ranks 10th. Drew Brees has experience at the quarterback position and I trust this defense to make plays. Forget about that recent loss to Atlanta. Consider that an aberration.

Philadelphia Eagles, +2500

This probably gives you the best dark horse Super Bowl pick available.

The Eagles can be a hot mess, but once again, this roster is one of the better units in the NFL when healthy. That’s been the problem for the Eagles for much of the last two seasons, though, with the injuries piling up.

Philadelphia’s offense is stagnant at the moment, but that can change in a hurry. And the defense can carry the Eagles through some tough matchups.

There’s good experience on this team and I trust the coaching staff in many instances.
