The Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals are now in the front of the line to win the National League pennant, according to Oddsshark.

Just one month ago, the Dodgers were the team with the dwindling odds. Now, it’s the Washington Nationals, which has been one of the main favorites throughout this year in Major League Baseball.

While the Dodgers and Cardinals are frontrunners to win the pennant at +350 (win $350 on a $100 bet), the Nationals are now +400. Washington still owns the third-best odds, but the New York Mets are threatening. New York has moved up the odds chart from a month ago, likely based on its move up in the NL East. New York is +1000 to win the pennant, still only ranked as the seventh-best odds, but trails the Nationals by only one game in the division.

The Dodgers also have company in the NL West. The San Francisco Giants are going off at +500 to win the pennant and trail the Dodgers by 2.5 games. The Dodgers have won four consecutive games and seven of their last 10, though.

Only two other teams have a shot at the pennant, according to oddsmakers. The Chicago Cubs are at +700 and the Pittsburgh Pirates are at +600. The Pirates and Cubs trail the Cardinals by 5.5 and 9.5 games respectively in the NL Central.

Currently, the Giants and Cubs are tied for the final Wild Card spot, while the Mets trail by three games. The Pirates own the first Wild Card spot

If you’re feeling lucky and maybe a little dumb, the Philadelphia Phillies would garner an incredible return on a $100 bet. The Phillies, owners of the worst record in Major League Baseball, are +50,000 to win the NL pennant, meaning gamblers can risk $100 for a $50,000 return.

The likelihood of that happening is about as much as this website making a million dollars in revenue by tomorrow.
