Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck are the overwhelming favorites to battle for the Most Valuable Player trophy this season in the NFL.

The Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts quarterbacks are listed at +500 at Oddsshark to win the MVP. Luck, who is in his fourth year, has never won the award, but his touchdown output has gone from 23 in his first two seasons, to 40 in 2014.

His team also has advanced to the playoffs in each of his first three seasons, with a trip to the AFC title game last year.

Rodgers is no stranger to the MVP award, winning the title last season and 2011. The Packers are once again favorites to repeat as NFC North champions.

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson owns the third-best odds at +1200. Peterson played only one game last year before being suspended the rest of the season. The last time Peterson came back a season after missing games during the previous year, he won the MVP in 2012 with a rushing campaign of 2,097 yards.

While the first four spots are dominated by quarterbacks, with Peyton Manning at +1600, a defensive player has the fifth-best odds at +2000. Houston Texans defender J.J. Watt finished with more than 20 sacks for the second time in his career last year.

Quarterbacks dominate the top 10, with Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger and Russell Wilson joining Watt at +2000.

The wide receivers with the best odds to win the MVP are Dez Bryant, Odell Beckham and Calvin Johnson at +2500.

And while Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is in the second-to-last MVP spot at +6600, he’s a far bigger favorite from the final choice on the list.

New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall is the last player listed for MVP among players considered for the award. Marshall is going off at +30000.
