The conference finals of the NBA playoffs will continue with one game Friday.

Cleveland at Atlanta (-1.5)

This series is over.

I’m sorry Atlanta, but in order to win this series, it had to win game one. That doesn’t mean that Cleveland will sweep the series, so bettors could pick up a win against the spread with the Hawks. But unfortunately for NBA conference finals fans, the West and East are over.

Oddsmakers believed that the public would back the Cavs in game two. The line opened at 1.5 in favor of Cleveland. However, the public surprised the oddsmakers.

The line is now Atlanta as the favorite by 1.5 points, meaning the public likes the Hawks’ ability to steal a game at home. I hate to agree with the public, especially considering how bad Atlanta has been this playoff season, but I like the Hawks to win this game, evening the series at 1-1.

Atlanta winning this game won’t matter much in the grand scheme of things, but it may make games three and four a bit more entertaining. Pick – Atlanta
