Four games will continue the NBA playoffs Saturday.

Here are the four best bets as the playoffs continue. Odds are provided by Postseason record so far: 5-4.

Atlanta at Brooklyn (+2.5)

Atlanta just doesn’t get any respect. The Nets this week have done a lot to make people dismiss the Hawks even more than before.

The Hawks just can’t seem to find its momentum from the regular season, needing to hold on late during the first two playoff meetings. Now, Atlanta is only a 2.5-point favorite, according to, over the lowly Nets, which finished 22 games behind Atlanta during the regular season.

In two games on the road against Brooklyn (albeit in the regular season), the Hawks won by 23 points and then three points on April 8.

It’s not looking good for the Hawks, but something tells me the disrespect will light a fire under the Hawks. Look for the Hawks to play big brother in this one and lead throughout, pretty much ending the Nets season. Pick — Atlanta

Chicago at Milwaukee (+5)

Thursday night was a betting man’s nightmare.

The Bucks were down for about double digits throughout the game, but in the end, it appeared as they would come through the back door, and possibly even win the game.

Then overtime happened. And then another one.

When it went to the second overtime, it became crystal clear that Milwaukee was going to let this one go, and become the only blemish on an otherwise perfect night for the Against The Chalk team.

This series is over and Milwaukee won’t be close in this one. The Bulls will clamp down defensively, and will attempt to rest up for a match-up with Lebron and the Cavaliers.

Take the Bulls minus the five points, and relax until the second round. Pick — Chicago

Golden State at New Orleans (+7)

Look at the Bulls game as a guide to follow in this one.

I don’t mind New Orleans. If in the East, the Pelicans could do some damage in the playoffs. But the West isn’t the East.

The Warriors used a late run in the fourth quarter and escaped overtime with the win — but not the cover.

I don’t see New Orleans competing in this one. It used up plenty of energy in game three and watched a big lead disappear in the fourth quarter to deflate them for Saturday’s contest.

I’m thinking the Warriors are getting a little leery of how much they’ve allowed New Orleans to stay in these games. Golden State will make a statement on Saturday, and dispose of New Orleans well before the final whistle. Pick — Golden State

Memphis at Portland (-3)

This series may take on the look of whichever team is at home, will be the winner — and most importantly, cover.

So far, Memphis has carried that banner through the first two games, with victories by double digits. So it would seem that Portland as a 3-point favorite, would be a stretch, even with the notion that it is at home.

However, the Trail Blazers are a different team at home (32-9), and game threes are always  a nice place for that team down 2-0, to feed off the home crowd enthusiasm and go into game four with an opportunity to even the series.

The Blazers are the more hungry team in this one. I like Memphis, and will likely take them in game 4, but I see this one with Portland winning by a comfortable margin. Pick — Portland
