Two games will continue the NBA playoffs Tuesday.

Here are the two best bets as the playoffs continue. Odds are provided by Oddsshark.com. Postseason record so far: 6-9.

Dallas at Houston (-7)

Houston hasn’t been able to play much defense in this series.

That continued to show in games three and four. Despite being able to pick up a cover in game three, the Rockets never had an answer for the Mavs in game four, allowing 121 points. If you’re keeping track at home, the Mavs have scored 249 points in two games and are 1-1 during those games.

Being without Rajon Rondo may have given the Mavs’ offense a spark it needed. Or maybe it was the home crowd. Either way, the Rockets just haven’t shown enough on the defensive end to warrant being a seven-point favorite in a game five. This series may not move on, but expect Dallas to keep it close. Pick — Dallas

San Antonio at LA Clippers (-2)

This series is by far the most interesting of the first round matchups. Which team will show up for the Clippers? Will it be the one that dismantled the defending champs in game one and then gutted through a nice performance in game four?

Or will it be the one that didn’t show up in game three. The Clippers, for the most part, have been the better team. Against my better judgment, I believe that trend will continue in this one. I’ll give the Clippers a slight edge in this one. Pick — LA Clippers
