Oddsmakers still believe in the National League.

Going into June, the National League had three teams with better odds to win the World Series than the Kansas City Royals, which has the best odds to win the title from the American League. That trend has continued, and the odds are becoming more in the National League’s favor.

The Los Angeles Dodgers lead the way with 6/1 odds to win the World Series, better than its 8/1 odds to begin June. Washington’s odds have gone down from 6/1 to 7/1, while the St. Louis Cardinals are 13/2 odds, better than its 15/2 odds at the beginning of June.

While there’s still disparity in the American League about which team will win the pennant, the National League will come down to a handful of teams, according to Oddsshark.

The Cardinals and Dodgers are tied at 13/4 odds to win the pennant, while the Nationals are slightly behind at 7/2. Other teams still in the hunt are Pittsburgh at 13/2, San Francisco and the Chicago Cubs at 9/1, and the New York Mets at 19/2.

Division titles have already been decided, according to the lines set by oddsmakers. The Nationals are 2/9 odds to win the East. The next-best odds are the Mets at 13/4. The Cardinals are 4/15 odds to win the Central, with the Pirates trailing 7/1. In the NL West, the Dodgers are 4/15 odds to win.

The worst odds to win pennants, divisions and the World Series continue to reside in the National League. The Philadelphia Phillies are still 750/1 to win the World Series. Colorado, Arizona, Atlanta, Cincinnati and Milwaukee join the Phillies with 100/1 odds or worse to win the title. Only the A’s are 100/1 or worse to win the title from the American League.
