Each college football team’s win totals have been diagnosed and if you’re looking for a quality over pick, don’t miss these three teams during the upcoming season.

Oklahoma State – over/under 7

The Cowboys suffered through a rebuilding year and watched Baylor and TCU battle it out for the Big 12 title, while a national audience watched.

This is the same team that two years ago won double digit games. Now, a year after going 6-6 in the regular season, the expectations are far lower and the Cowboys are sneaking into this season with an over/under of only seven wins.

But as last year wore on, Oklahoma State got better. With several players returning, this team is a dark horse Big 12 conference champion. Watch out for the Cowboys at home this year. TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma and Kansas State all go to Stillwater, Oklahoma, this season. If the home turf is nice to the Cowboys, this over will be smooth sailing.

Kentucky – over/under 6

Head coach Mark Stoops is taking a backseat to no one on the recruiting trail.

The talent will be young for the Wildcats, but there are several opportunities to get to seven wins. Kentucky will be better on offense, and the schedule features plenty of home games and a soft non-conference schedule.

The Wildcats must do better in the SEC, but with the amount of talent on the roster, they should have a good shot at winning seven and possibly more games. Don’t lose any sleep on taking the Wildcats in the over.

Penn State – over/under 7.5

Penn State will be improved in head coach James Franklin’s second season and that schedule is just too easy to ignore. If the Nittany Lions don’t go at least 6-0 to begin the season, it will be shocking.

Penn State faces Buffalo, Rutgers, San Diego State, Army and Indiana at home, and play on a neutral field against Temple in the season’s first six games.

Quarterback Christian Hackenberg will have a great opportunity to put himself on the Heisman trophy map in the first half of the season, and he should be able to keep that confidence going into the season’s second half. The second part of the season will get more difficult, but it shouldn’t be too tough for Penn State to win at least two games in the final six contests.
